Build your Fantasy Fest Beards out of anything you can imagine or show up at Willie’s Chicken Shack with hair on your face to win prizes during the third annual Official Fantasy Fest Event; Wolek’s Famous Beard Championship. This year the contest is dedicated to the memory of Jimmy Buffett, and all mustache categories will benefit local charity “Nicky’s Celebration” in the tradition of partying with a purpose. Grow a stache for Jimmy! Beardsmen and Whiskerinas from all genders around the world are invited to compete. In the main event, Fantasy Fest & Capt Ron Wolek wants you to use your imagination and create the craziest beard contraption or decorate your own beard. Competition registration opens at 12:00pm for natural beards and mustaches. Registration for Fantasy Beards and Whiskerinas opens at 5:00pm. Register ahead online for only $5 at mustacheparlor.com. Day of entry fees are $20. Stage show begins at 6:00pm with awards at 8:00pm. All contestants must be judged prior to 6:00pm and present at 8:00pm to receive awards on stage. Victory celebration to commence immediately after awards with live music. Official mustache championship referees to determine the contest by National Beard and Mustache Competition standards. If you can't attend in-person on Monday Oct 23, you may enter online. Online contest winners will be announced during the 8:00pm Key West Show on Tikimanradio.com on October 30th.
