We are still working around the clock to make sure this year's lineup of parties will keep our Festival Fans well entertained!

YES — it seems strange to take away the opportunity for folks to spread out and be in the street for the street fair — however the ability for us to take over the Street is tied to the City of Key West Granting us permission — all events happening on City Property are under review through the end of this year. We could not continue planning, knowing our participants were spending time and money building floats and stocking up for a Street Fair that was not going to be granted permission to proceed. We are focusing our Creative Juices on all the Things We know will be happening!!

YES — There will be T-shirts & Posters for Sale for 2021, We will also host the Poster Signing event and have both 2021’s Poster and our 2020 Poster for Signing!

YES — The Friday Masquerade March has been cancelled. We will have Masquerade Drink Specials Friday Evening with our Bar Partners, more information to follow.

NO — We will not have a Designated Fantasy Zone this year on Friday 10/29 or Saturday 10/30.

YES — Costumes are Welcome! … and YES … Nudity is still illegal.

YES — Key West and the Florida Keys are fully open for business and our Festival Partners are looking forward to welcoming you. They are already working diligently to keep their operations safe, and their staff healthy. Please do your part as we continue to navigate the best way to gather safely in October.

To our Festival Friends, Partners and Participants,

We cannot look into the future, but we can certainly see what is happening in our community today, and the impact that the new variant of Covid-19 has made. We stand by our request that you only attend Fantasy Fest if you are fully vaccinated. We hope that you will abide by our Covid Policy and do your part to make the decision to participate based on your own personal wellbeing.

We have decided to Cancel the Fantasy Fest Parade and the Friday & Saturday Street Fair, scheduled for October 29th & 30th 2021.

At this time – we are placing the Friday Masquerade March on ‘Hold’. We will make a determination at a future date as to our ability to safely host the March.

Fantasy Fest – will look different this year but it is not canceled! There will be a schedule of events hosted in and around Key West at many of your favorite venues. Please be prepared with masks, as these venues may enforce their own rules for entry to their events.

Key West and the Florida Keys are open for business and our Festival Partners are looking forward to welcoming you. They are already working diligently to keep their operations safe, and their staff healthy. Please do your part as we continue to navigate the best way to gather safely in October.
